Gifts

It would be wonderful if you could bring your favourite side dish or dessert to our feast!

Beyond that, we are quite serious in saying please don't feel obligated to get us a gift. We have invited you because you are a treasured part of our community and it would be wonderful if you are able to celebrate with us.

If you would still like to gift us with something, here are some options:

1. We are throwing a giant party and would really appreciate the gift of an hour of your time to help make this wonderful for all!

2. We really value community. If you'd like to give us money, please consider splitting the amount and giving half to any of the following:
- Local charity
- Arts-based groups in your community
- International: Joel and his family stayed with Hasera Farm, a community based agricultural education center in Nepal. They do incredible work and are still very dear to us. Sending money to Nepal is a bit complicated; please contact Joel's father, Andrew, to coordinate.

3. If you'd like to get us something tangible, we've curated a list of items below, many of which would be good group gifts. It's an eclectic list and spread out across several stores so if you get us something from this list, please use the contact form below to message Heather's mom, Fran, who will update the list to keep requested/received quantities current. (The lists of places to buy them are merely suggestions; if you find a better place to buy it then go for that!). The exceptions to this are for the flatware (registry at Crate & Barrel) and tableware (registry at William Ashley), for which you don't need to contact Fran.

Table (and registries at stores)

Our flatware of choice is the Couture collection at Crate & Barrel
You can view the Registry here. To order from it you will need to call
(888) 657-4108 and quote registry number 5485176
(p.s. The registry says 'gift cards welcome' by default, but we would prefer you select from the other options on this page)

Our tableware of choice is the Denby Heather collection (rather appropriately named)
You can view and purchase from the Registry at William Ashley online.
Joel has grown up with Denby and it has survived over 30 years so far, quite a recommendation!
