Sunday, July 25 anytime after 5 p.m. at Cherry Beach / Clark Beach Park for a very casual last-minute BBQ, rain or shine!

We'll be bringing the supporting cast for a BBQ (charcoal, tableware, plenty of condiments, water), and you should bring:

• the stars of your dinner show: some food to grill and/or share 
• BYOB: whatever you enjoy and want to drink in public
  • we will be providing water
• camping chairs or picnic blankets if you have them

You could bring:

• a bathing suit if the lake looks tempting (as of right now, the beach is partly open and water conditions are safe for swimming)
• sporting gear (Ultimate discs, canoes, etc.)
• a sweater if you plan to stay late
• friends, family, partners, or other beloved people — this is an open invite, just let us know how many people will be coming!

Cherry Beach / Clark Beach Park

• The park has only two picnic benches, so seating will be limited. Please bring camping chairs if you have them!
• There are washrooms onsite.
• We will have some jugs of water available
• Getting there:
  • There is a TTC bus which runs from King Station to Cherry Beach
  • There is some parking available right near the picnic area and near the soccer pitch northeast of us. 
  • It's also very bikeable!

It looks like there is also a dance party which may be going on next to us (it wasn't happening this past weekend, but I'm not sure if/when it will start up). If it's there, it'll give us some background music!
